Put Your Dream to Work: Apply for a Verizon Wireless Domestic Violence Entrepreneurship Grant

The grant program, in consultation with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, provides funding to entrepreneurs who have escaped the cycle of violence and are ready to put their skills to work to get a home office or small business up and running.

Entrepreneurship Grants Available For Domestic Violence Survivors

Verizon Wireless is providing $25,000 in grants for aspiring Virginia, Maryland and DC entrepreneurs who have escaped the cycle of domestic abuse.

Domestic Violence Survivors To Start And Expand Small Businesses With Support From Verizon Entrepreneurship Training Program

Nine women, all survivors of domestic abuse, recently graduated from the program in Massachusetts.  These women received training to help them start or expand their own small or home-based businesses to achieve greater financial stability and independence.
