IDVAAC

At the 2011 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration (SBGC) in Dallas on Feb. 4, HopeLine® from Verizon presented Women Called Moses Coalition and Outreach, Inc., and Genesis Women’s Shelter with a $15,000 donation.  The donation will help both organizations in their mission to provide a safe haven and secure shelter for victims of domestic violence in the Dallas, TX area.

At Verizon's How Sweet the Sound 2010 Finale on Nov. 13, 2010, in Washington, D.C., hosts Cece Winans and Donald Lawrence presented a $50,000 donation from HopeLine from Verizon to Dr. Oliver J. Williams of the Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community (IDVAAC). The donation will help the IDVAAC continue on its mission to raise awareness of domestic violence in the African-American community and demonstrates Verizon Wireless’ ongoing commitment to this important cause.
