John Granby
President - Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region

John Granby is president–Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region, Verizon Wireless, responsible for all sales, marketing, operations, financial performance and customer service in the three states.

His career with the company spans more than 16 years and includes positions of increasing responsibility in sales, customer service and financial services. Most recently, Granby served as director of Customer Service for the Georgia/Alabama Region for Verizon Wireless. Prior to that, he was vice president of operations–Financial Services for Alltel, a legacy company of Verizon Wireless, where he oversaw eight call centers across the nation. Granby also served as vice president and general manager of Alltel’s South Market Area, which included Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Granby has received numerous leadership and sales performance awards.

Granby earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia, where he majored in communications, English and consumer sciences.
