Russ Preite
President - Upstate New York Region

Russ Preite is president – Upstate New York Region for Verizon Wireless, the premier wireless provider with the nation’s largest 4G LTE network and largest, most reliable 3G network. In this role, he is responsible for sales, operations, financial performance and the overall customer experience in the region.

Previously, Preite served as director of retail sales for the company’s Philadelphia Tri-State Region where he oversaw all company-owned store sales and operations for central, northeastern and southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

Preite began his career at Verizon Wireless in 2000 as a business account executive in the company’s New England Region. He later served as business sales manager in New England before moving to the Upstate New York Region as business sales manager for the Rochester market. He served as associate director of business sales, director of data sales and then director of business sales there.

Active in the community, Preite served on the board of directors for the Philadelphia Police Foundation in 2009 and 2010, and is currently active in the United Way of Greater Rochester and the YMCA of Rochester.

Preite attended Rhode Island College where he majored in business management.
