John Bianchi is vice president of National Customer Service for Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless company in the United States, with responsibility for the company’s customer service quality and strategy. A premier technology company, Verizon Wireless operates the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.
Prior to his current role, Bianchi served as executive director for national Customer Service, responsible for national metrics, online and desktop tools and applications, and resource and real estate planning. He also served as director of customer service operations and technologies. He joined the Verizon Wireless customer service team when the company was launched in 2000.
Bianchi began his career in telecommunications as a customer service representative for the former Pacific Bell telephone company. He has been engaged in a broad range of customer service functions in various management positions of increasing responsibility, including customer loyalty and quality assurance, call centers for ethnic markets, mergers and acquisitions, force management, and call center technologies. He also served as director of national customer service with the former U.S. wireless company, AirTouch.
He has served as vice chairman of the Half Moon Bay (California) Beautification Committee, which benefits local community, senior and children non-profit organizations.
He earned degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of Santa Clara, Calif.
