Kenneth Dixon
President - Midwest Area Region

Ken Dixon is president – Midwest Area for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company’s operations in the Great Plains, Illinois/Wisconsin, Kansas/Missouri, Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky and Ohio/Pennsylvania regions.

Before assuming his current assignment, Dixon served as president - New England Region for Verizon Wireless, responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing general operations and demonstrating sales leadership for Verizon Wireless in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont. Previously, Dixon was president – Upstate New York Region. His background also includes managing business and indirect sales in the Upstate New York Region and earlier in the New England Region. He also served as the vice president of sales operations in the mid-Atlantic states and as president of the Georgia Region.

Dixon joined the wireless industry in 1992 as an account executive for NYNEX Mobile. He held a variety of sales management positions for NYNEX Mobile and later Bell Atlantic Mobile, including director of sales – Direct & Indirect Sales in Upstate New York & Vermont, and executive director of sales – Business Sales & Indirect Distribution for all of New England.

Dixon earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY.
